About this publication

I spent 30 years of my life in the tech industry. Most people know me as cricket. I like to write manifestos. I like offering advice and mentoring for those new to the tech industry. I like to offer interesting tips and tricks.

I worked for 20 years at Apple. Through all this, I’ve done a lot of writing. I had an internal blog at Apple and wrote a number of long essays on my experiences, which eventually led to the creation of Tech Reflect when I left Apple in 2019. I’ve republished many of those here.

Why subscribe?

Tech Reflect has been a labor of love and costly to maintain over the years. I’ve moved to Substack and a subscription model to make it self-supporting so I can continue hosting the content and devote more time to writing. Your support gets you full access to the newsletter and publication archives.
